Received mine yesterday DOA.

The watch itself is beautiful and well built. The insert is close to the noob one however, under direct sunlight you notice the difference between the two.

Noob's crystal is better and it needs to be changed on the CF I got.

Overall, if it was functioning I would have been over the moon.

Was looking at my old GMF, it turns out they got the thicker rim on the bezel right.

I wonder if it will hold the CF insert, or if I decide to get this one, Maybe I can migrate the bezel across. KJ2020

Thought I'd mention it for those who still have their 2018 GMF.

A lot of insert comparisons in color, finish, etc. but seeing the Noob insert side by side with the CF, the CF clearly takes the title. The depth, shape and color of the engraved numbers are, for me, identical to the gen (they are also thicker than Noob´s). In my opinion, no factory got that right in previous versions. That alone made me buy it.

Hi, yes precisely (DOA = dead on arrival).

The finition of the movement is awful and it is really dirty!

Anyway, as I'm going to Franken it, I'll figure out something with my TD and slap a new movement in it ;-)

One DOA out of so many is not so bad.. that's about the expected fail rate. Time will tell though if there are more DOA's.

The movement feel is a highlight so far on mine.. might open it up later to take a look

Yes I opened mine and all fine and pretty clean. Running at +4secs per day currently.
