That's not a picture, it's a 3D rendering, it's known how these renders are totally different from the real thing, especially the ones found on Rolex official website
The render is actually made with the same data as the CAD/CAM of the product. I know the company which produces these.
The aim with a CGI render is to try and get the product to look as though you are looking at it with both eyes, so the 'lens' used to make the render in 3DSMax will be very long - 200-300mm. A photograph gives the impression of looking at something with one eye shut. Especially when taken with a smartphone - it gives a really different look. All these comparisons of shape between the gen and rep using random imagery of the internet are useless and misleading - unless you have a side by side, by which I mean a real side by side you can't tell much.
Anyway. More interested in the BLNR - I never liked the Pepsi - far too much going on IMO. A real dog's breakfast of a watch.
