Just installed a Clark crystal on my V1 (LEC version). Milky white ring is gone around the perimeter of the crystal (thank god!). The black hole effect is decent, but not great...about the same as the stock CF crystal IMO. I'd say overall it's nice improvement...especially since that effing white ring was causing me much mental anguish and physical distress

upgrade: absolutely great red
downgrade: no curvature on the '1's anymore...
lets hope they improve this until release. But anyway i'd rather have that great red with straight '1's than the other way round, so hope it's no joke
CF have bezel engravings really close to gen! This insert isn't CF bro! It's a joke
you sure it's a joke? rest of the watch looks like CF to me and other than the '1's I don't see much difference in the engravings. Maybe a bit skinnier but this can be the light. At least I hope so :-D really waiting for such a red lol

Those numbers on the insert do look kinda crappy for a CF. If it's not a joke, surely is a step back. Colors look spot on, tough (a really poorly done gen bezel?.. nahhh)

Since the CF GMTs have been on the market for a while now, I would highly appreciate your experiences with the VR3186. I got mine serviced upfront and understand that this is in general a reliable movement. However, I have seen posts on reddit suggesting to treat it like the old CHS time bomb movements, i.e. avoid using the hour hand for setting the date.
Do you agree that this causes a lot of wear and tear due to weaknesses of this movement? Since I don't war mine daily, setting the date with the minute hand is a little annoying, however I could live with that if that's the general opinion here.

Same problem, I removed the bezel and discovered the rataining ring broken, so I cleaned all the white grease, changed the triangular spring with three pins (don't know the name) with a better one then removed the white retaining ring and swapped with a simple steel wire (the same used in cheap replicas to keep the bezel on the case) and now it works perfectly
Quick question, does ALL the CF pepsi’s serial number starts with 736? I saw one for sale claimed as CF but serial starts with 146 or 136 can’t remember. Appreciate if anyone can give any infos!
