Hello! I recently bought Rolex Daytona Panda from CF, not sure if V2
Or V3 but it came with a shifted dial, slight right. I was wondering what can be the options here to try fix it.

1. Should I buy a RB dial from TD and attempt to swap it? Not sure if the problem is the cf dial or just a misalignment

2. Should I try re align it through a watchmaker? Im getting quoted 250usd for this, or maybe ill just figure out and do it myself?

Thanks!

Open the caseback. Remove the holding tab screws. Move it. Close it.
If a watchmaker charges you for this, it should only be a few bucksy say 25-50

Yes. And leave the caseback open for future endeavors.

No man, everything goes back in place
Oh got it. Seems quite straightforward! Thank you very much! Do you know which tools I should be using? I think i need to buy them.

Caseback opener and a small 🪛

Loosen only one clamp. Move the inside and dial in position. Fixate the other clamp again. Close the caseback. Done.

Did you tell the watchsmith it was a genuine rolex or a clone? Their prices matter on such details lol. They will charge more for genuine.

I told them its a replica but they said since its clone movement, the process for them
Is the same so it doesnt really matter rep or gen.

seems like it's either open it up, pay for them to do it, or next time check the QC photos a bit better.

It's not a process. It's just a matter of a few seconds. Literally two minutes they're done. Explain to them what I have told you.

They will quote you a different price.
They thought the watch needs to be taken apart and dial needs to the taken off etc.

That's not the case. It's a matter of how the whole inside sits in the watch. Just a case clamp removal and readjusting.

yeah possibly you explained a harder job than they needed. if you take it in, and show them they can usually just do it right quick. then pay another whatever for a quick waterproof test if it's not included.

I would not remove the movement retaining screws for this, as the movement incl. the dial is relatively „loose“ in the case and it will quickly slip again after alignment before you have screwed the screws back in.

I proceed like this: Remove the caseback. Slightly unscrew BOTH movement retaining screws so that they are still slightly under tension with the retaining clips but loose enough to move the movement. Then you can move the movement including the dial back and forth with the screwdriver (fractions of mm) and align everything. Then tighten the screws, put the caseback on and you're done. It really only takes 5 minutes.

To add:
Also unscrew the crown into winding position before you do that otherwise the whole movement would be fixed at the case tube and not movable.

It’s about this screw & clamp by the way. The second one is on the opposite, here hidden by the rotor:
