Ryan was in touch this afternoon. All he can say is, "the factory is STILL updating the watch, it could be here soon, but he still has NO idea of the upgrades" so please pay no heed to ANYONE saying its getting "This, That or The Other" added to it.

IMHO the noob factory will bring out the vers 2 , and they will STILL not get it 100% and may even screw it up in other area's , then it will go back again for more upgrades.. there past history proves this.. they still cant even get the end links to fit tight , sloppy sloppy , the BP is half the price and twice the watch ..

thats your opinion. If you actually managed to see and feel the Noob in the flesh, I can assure you, its leaps ahead of the BP's finish quality.
Yes it still has some flaws, but its way beyond being compared to the BP, its in a different league.
The BP feels like the early Subs when compared to the New Noob.
Trust me, am wearing it!

i think all major flaws have been fixed with v2 thats why im waiting at least i have a nice sub for now,i heard it has a new dial and hands and bezel insert font fixed.the prototype pearl looks ok tbh,so i think the noob will be nice

No idea where you are getting this info from and it simply isn't true... Angus from puretime has been the most consistent connection we have with noob regarding the new prototype and v2 and he has not said any of this.... This is just the wishful thinking of many on the forums. I know we are all stoked for the noob v2 but let's get our heads out of the clouds and stop building everyone's hopes up. The noob v2 will have plenty of flaws just like every other rep out there.

Nobody gets these things perfect, especially a company that couldn't even fix the ridiculous fat hour hand on their prototype... It's incredibly discouraging they would even release the damned thing in that state.

It's also worth mentioning noob v2 was supposed to be out months ago...

To the OP, you have asked a question that people ridicule and disrespect many forum noobs over asking. There is so much info out there regarding your topic and your excuse is basically that you didn't want to read through it all and come to your own conclusion, you just wanted a short answer - that is insultingly lazy and won't be met with positivity by most veteran members who can actually guide you in the right direction with accurate information.... Don't believe everything you read.

Your referring to repgeek and that is 100 percent speculation and I would love it if you linked to that post, because I am very active on repgeek and am subscribed to the v2 sub thread and have not seen that comment. Let me reiterate that NOBODY on our forums knows ANYTHING about the v2 noob sub. Again, NOBODY has ANY idea what will be fixed, what won't, when the release date is even SUPPOSED to be, and if it will even EVER be released.
If you want a noob sub I suggest you buy the prototype because it's best to consider that IT.

That being said, it's still a great watch.

Lastly, WHY would you replace the noob prototype/v2 pearl with a BP? The noob prototype is widely regarded as the BEST pearl ever produced.... Swapping it would be a complete waste, you might as well buy a BP for perfect SEL fit and what you consider a great pearl.... I'm tempted to buy the noob prototype just for the darned pearl. It's That good.

PS: sorry for caps but I felt the need to make some solid points for anyone else reading.

I assure you the people "rambling" about the feel of the watch 1) do not work for noob 2) have a very solid case/reason for saying so.

Apparently the new watch does feel excellent. Don't know what that means? Go into the store and try on a gen rolex and compare the bracelet to your rep (in your mind... Don't actually bring in your rep). THAT is the feeling of quality. I happen to own a GMT on a gen jubilee bracelet and the "feel" of the watch is so incredible it gets practically all of my wrist time (and I have some awesome hi-quality reps).

The feel of the watch can change everything about it. I have yet to lay my hands on the noob prototype, but something tells me if I did, I may lay my more visually accurate BP subs to rest...

Pan. Take this post for what it is worth. Clearly this guy doesn't have a clue. For starters, the BP sub is not half the price of a Noob. The BP sub with the comparable movement as the Noob is about $360. The Noob is about $400.

And as far as sloppy end links go, I am betting this guy came up with this cr@p because someone told him so or he was able to "verify" this by comparing pictures on a computer screen. I am betting the guy doesn't own either watch.

Do yourself a favor. Search RWI and read posts from people who actually own the watches. There is a reason there are lots of posts by BP Sub owners complaining about the low quality feel, substandard bracelet finish and clasp that doesn't work.

Like wise, there is a reason guys like Al and I, who actually do own the Noob protoype, comment on how well the watch is made and how close to Gen it feels.

As far as "sloppy" end links go, the end links on my Noob prototype are as tight as a clams a$$ with lockjaw at low tide.

Everyone always wants pics...

Here's a couple of quick ones from my poopy cell camera.

Make sure you blow up the picture 100X to examine my "Sloppy. Sloppy" end links. If you look long enough, you may even hear them rattling around Hahahahaha
