Ive had my tank for a couple months and it’s been working great but I just noticed today that the sapphire fell out of the crown and I have no idea where it is. How should I get this fixed? Go to a watch repairman? Or should I order the part from the dealer and then go to a watch repairman?

Any advice would be great!

I don't think you need a watchmaker for this. It's probably just plugged or glued in. Should be an easy fix...

Getting a replacement item may be the hardest part. Not sure if a TD can source one or how common those are. I'd try looking one up on Dhgate or AliExpress, but asking a couple of TDs won't hurt as well, for sure...

On the other hand, I can imagine those fall off quite regularly, so maybe it isn't so difficult to source one after all.

Took me 30 sec to find cheap aftermarket replacements on Google for a Santos... Shouldn't be too hard for other models. Like I suspected, it's a rather common part that apparently falls off quite often. 😂

Thanks for the advice. Yes I talked to my TD - Ctime and they are ordering a new stone from the factory. I’m still not sure if it’s just the stone or the whole crown. But you’re right, I think if it’s just the stone I can probably just super glue it on haha

oh nice! I saw the same one. I looked a little yesterday but didn’t find it for my model but I’m betting that it’s out there. If the factory takes a while I’ll probably just do that.

Did you have yours fall out? Or just found one for your model?

This is the Cartier equivalent to the crown falling off a Rolex clasp. It’s good you can get a new one

what glue should be used for this?

Actually, I'd say it's the equivalent to the crown logo falling off a rep Rolex winding crown, which has happened to me. I'd love to find a replacement, and I would use super glue.

Regarding Rolex crowns,I have found the cap of the crown of Eddie Lee Datejusts come off I super glued it but it will never be the same

I hope Raffles crowns work on all Rolex reps
