I noticed in the pictures the watch has some kind of plastic around the bezel...can you take this off or do some have air bubbles like that?

yes, I did took off the plastic after a wile, because i didnt even notice a plastic..
It is a beautiful watch and I am very happy with it..
Now I did order a pam 111 , again from the trevor..

How is the AR coating on yours? Does it have the blue tint? It looks ok from the pics.

My one had a heavy blue tint to it, so I had to sell it on

Apparently, polishing paste, or maybe even toothpaste on a cloth will remove it safely.
A better idea would be to ask an AR expert here to remove it, and re-coat it. You will not be disappointed with the transformation!
