Carbotech (PAM 616) released

It's actually pretty cool they are offering this as a fantasy. Imagine how many watches like this they try and never bring out. I personally think it would be great for an homage build. Re paint the dial and make it sterile, maybe gold hands, I would love to have that.

i actually like your idea. I can do my own version of custom watches.

The gen CarboTech is really not even worth repping IMO. It is so ugly. I think this rep is better looking. You have to ask yourself if CarboTech is really in the spirit of G. Panerai. I think not.

On some level I agree with you, but the longer I look at the gen, the more beautiful it becomes. If they rep it well I might just buy one.

LOL to each his own! I am glad they used the AP forged carbon as the gen PAm 616 has a zebra effect. This watch looks great to me, all I need now is a gen strap, love the blue pam logo! Forged Carbon is the shiznick!!! LOL

That's what I was referring to, the gen looks like a zebra and hideous. I like the fantasy forged carbon that V6 factory did. I would never wear the gen.
