Can the newly released XF V2 FC Diver 15706 be considered a super rep?

Ok guys, I need some advice. As you know I am fairly new here, been actively on this forum for about 2 months now. I ordered my first XF v2 in October. Received QC pics, approved, etc. Today I picked up my watch from the postal office. I might be getting this wrong, but I am totally confused. I think the watch that I received is NOT the one that I approved during QC. Is it possible, or am I going nuts?

Aside from 12 o'clock being not straight, there is a black line going through Audemars logo, and looks like P of the Piguet is aligned higher than the rest of the logo.

To me the crown as approved in QC looks perfectly straight, while on the actual received its not.

Different "H" and "I" case backs, different numbers.

Is it safe to say that the watch that I received in not the same as I approved? I understand that rep is not going to be 100% but I wouldn't accept a rep with a terrible AP logo defect like this.

I am interested in which TD too. I could tell it was a different watch by the alignment of the 12 o'clock markers being slightly varied. Different serial numbers too.

Good point! Serial makes it an open and shut case. Do tell us who the TD is!

No resolution yet, waiting for a reasonable response. TD responded once with something that didn't make much sense. I followed up since then, but still waiting for a response. Been 5 days, guessing he is busy due to holidays, not sure. Have to say that I am a little upset to say the least, but as long as it works out...

I recognise the style of qc pics, and his seem to have a bit of a yellow cast at the moment - my ROO QC was the same.

The other thing is you’re not the first person here to get a watch from Sead which does not match the QC pics. Saw a lot of it in the Rolex section, and it happened to me as well - I got a watch with the usual ARF problem of un-synched hands (I always check QC for that). Nothing £50 and a watch smith couldnt fix - unlike the terrible watch he sent you - what the f**k is he playing at?!

Keep us posted. Hope he does the right thing.

It's plain to see that he is cheating you and should not be a TD. Apparently you are not the first. Correct me if I'm wrong, he's a conman, and here in Asia we see them on a daily basis.

And who TF are you to judge someone that you have no dog in with? Give him a chance to resolve this and come forward with an explanation of how this could’ve happened. He’s a TD here for a reason.

From what I understand there is no such thing as a perfect TD. This is a rep world after all, for perfect TD we need to go to AD, they even serve tea or coffee there

The issue with ARF, at least for the Submariner, Sea Dweller and Explorer is the hands are often not put on properly. This can be seen when the hour hand position does not correspond to the minute hand position - its easy to miss, but once you notice it you wont be able to see anything else. I put this down to one dipshit at the factory not putting them on right.

If you buy any watch, even gen, its something you need to check. I recommend to ask the TD for one shot showing time at exactly 6 to check this, but then you need to get other shots at the usual 8:20 / 10:10 to check dial print and date.

The one that i had gotten had the wrong Dial, it was the Dial from 15707 without the Circles - and quite useless to me. Better check your QC pictures really good.

My last score for 2018. Love this watch and it’s pretty close to a super rep. However, the rubber strap is a bit too stiff, so I swap it out with a JF XS strap, and that feels much better.

Did anyone try to fit the JF diver V9.5 moveable links to this XF V2? Will that made it moveable too?
