Shower should be warm only, not steaming hot. Worst is to go from very cold to very hot and back because of the steam and different expansion/contraction rates of glass/caseset/O-rings.
Only cold shower or only warm shower should be fine, avoid too much soap on the watch, it will wash off the grease.

I just use babywipes to clean myself

I shower and swim with all my reps and gens. I dont think its an issue at all. Just make sure u get the reps tested before u do anything with them
