If you get it sealed and tested then you can but removing a watch from wrist before shower is a trouble? Cmon... Lol

Do you shower with your clothes on? If not then why don't you feel troublesome to remove your clothes for shower but removing a watch sounds like a huge task for you?:hehehe:

My advice to you, try not to shower/swim with your rep watch OOTB unless you got it lub, seal and tested for WR by a modder/watchsmith.

You will find that, even on the gen forums, most advise is going to be to remove your watch before taking a shower.

To be honest, all of the newer rep dive watches are waterproof enough for a shower. I showered with my New Noob DSSD with no issues.

TC Sub has been diving with me around the Med reef:

And my modded FrPO with gen tube and crown dived to the bottom of the 10ft pool with no issues :)

Straight from the td is a bit of a gamble....my watches that see the most wrist time have all been to the Smith for waterproofing and testing...Some td's offer this service for an extra 20 bucks before they send your new watch....

You said "feel troublesome removing your rep" before a shower ??? I read that right ? .......... I think its harder and more troublesome to get naked before a shower, right ?

With over 40 reps now and full waterproofing testers and tools, I would say 9 out of 10 diver watches are showerproof as delivered. The ones that fail are normally due to dry, missing or misfired o rings

So take off the back with sticky tape and check the o ring and grease it and you should be fine

I wear all my reps in the shower and bathtub. never had a problem. they are submerged in water on a daily basis. Not to say that you won't get one that won't leak though. It can happen. I guess I've just been lucky.
