I like that Patina a lot, yours and the one with the green corrosion are the best so far

Bradj, how do I get those? :D Btw, isnt the green a bit light, don't you think?

How do you get a green nubuck strap? I guess ask Mcjules, he appears to have the materials. I've got about 10 straps in my head that I'm gonna make next for this watch.

That is some awesome patina. one of the things i love about bronze, let it go wild and if it doesn't go in the direction u like, vinegar and lemon and u are back to the starting board

My approach ;)

Salt ,makes a sort korrosion you normaly dont want,it damages the material and tje gaskets !

I cant stand the look of waterstains ,and the green ,these saltwaterraped 382 are ruined after a while

But what can i say chacun a son gout

I couldn't agree more. How did you achieve your patina? It's got a very nice uniformity and color.

I'd love to know.

All the best,

A

You have to degrease the case very well!
Put him in a basket ,so i dont have to touch it

I use handwarm water ,add a few drops of liver of sulfur.
When the water is cold the process is slower, you can determine much better if the colour is right

After that you have to put it in a soda solution to stop the process

Let it dry very good, and polish it very very soft with an dry cloth.

It wont work the first time believe me;)

I clean the watch with one drop of mild car polish ,you dont have to rub ,it will come of very easy

Regards

The Patina is Beautiful and so is the strap, Having AH in the background doesn't hurt either
