How are your initial impressions on your calibre WG?

Overall I am happy.

The movement works well.

The black dial is nice, and the crystal is good (AR could be better but black dials glare). The lume is good.

If I really wanted to perfect it an AR and Lume would do it. Gen crown if possible. And a gen leather strap.

The quality of the polish and brushed steel is good.

Only problem for me is the crown. The way it locks in positions (maybe this is a movement issue) It may be the way the gen is IDK, but I like screw-down crowns and this one is not.

Very difficult. Mine were stuck tight
But I took it to a local jeweler (not even a watchsmith) and he switched the bracelet to the strap that I had for $10

Which dealer did you use? Also, are there different versions of the caseback / rotor? the ones on the standard websites aren't that great. This is definitely not a trusted dealer, but someone on another forum ordered from here: http://replicafe.us/replica-cartier-calibre-de-cartier-automatic-mens-watch-w7100014-p-295.html and the rotor/caseback look pretty convincing, although they may be using pictures of gen watches on this for all the versions of the Calibre rep.

Looks good. How is the SEL(?) join? The weld on the opposite side of the cabochon usually looks a bit messy.

The SEL is great on this one =)
...I didn't quite get what part of the cabochon or case usually gets messy, but I took some more pics of the watch and will be doing a review soon on my section here on RWI.

Will be posting this week, as I am outta my PC until tomorrow and all the pics are there.

As I'm no expert in Cartiers, I will be glad to receive as many feedback as possible by the resident Cartier connoiseurs here about it when I post it up.

Cheers,
Spirit.
