Do all TD source their watches from the same place? I wanted Swiss ETA 7750 movement but it seems that noone on the TD list carries those and in on a thread I started I was told that either I chose Asian Movement or I would have to go Gen.

So having said that... is there a comparison as to who sources the best HBB? I am also looking for a Daytona Chrono, a Breitling Navitimer and a Cartier Calibre Chrono. I am slo digging that DSSD sardonix... may I ask where you got it?

Hi Watchcollectr

You are comming from other thread, I know it, but you should not ask the same type of questions all around the forum.

Swiss ETA 7750 are expensive and there are few replicas fitted with this movement, and they are very expensive. Moreover you will not be sure about the origin of this "Swiss" movement. You should go to A7750 and forget the Swiss for a Chrono 7750.
Other movements is different and there are a lot of endless discussions about that. Read also this "inconclusive thread":
"Swiss" ETA / Asian Superclones / Asian Clones – What’s the best choice?

At the end yourself will have to take the decission, reading and learning. The soonest you understand it the soonest you will start to enjoy the hobby.
Meanwhile, if you don't learnt you will be asking the same questions in all Sections and "boring" people and yourself.
You must assume you want getting inside the rep world and it is not the Gen world. There are here different rules and you would need to learn them.

Leaving aside some special dealers, with limited range and production, like BK (kindly indicated by Sardonix) or DSN (Davidsen) or similar, ALL DEALERS HAVE THE SAME REPLICAS. A HBB V6, a PAM 243 Noob V2, a Breitling H maker them all will be the same from Puretime, Marvellous or Timeshops.

Concerning your choices:

HBB- The best choice is HBB V6, the best replica of HBB ever made. You will find all info in:
“Official Thread†HBB V6 Evolution – Compilation of data
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/official-thread-hbb-v6-evolution-82678

Daytona Chrono- non advisable replica to starters. Due to position of seconds @6 the Movement A7750 becomes non reliable.

Breitling Navitimer- There are not accurate replicas of this watch

Cartier Calibre Chrono- I don't know accurate replicas of this watch. The only good replica Cartier Chrono is the Santos.

I hope this is a step to start your reading and learning. I hope...

Good luck

I'd suggest reading By-Tors reviews

They've helped me immensely in making my purchases

This is a study very old, interesting of course, but nowadays it is no valid. There are a lot of new versions after that.

Daytona, as above said I repeat is not reliable due to seconds @6 modified movement. Maybe some vintage model Paul Newman with seconds @9

Breitling: many good chronos. Avenger, Super Avenger... As always read the Breit section.

I hope again you will start reading something...
Fortunately it seems you have forgotten (?) the Swiss 7750 chrono...
