I would suggest a different TD for a newbie's first order, to be honest, though I do love his EU stock offerings which I will soon use again. But he's extremely "efficient" in his comms and a full line of text is already an entire novel for his standards. 😂

My guess would be that no response at all means that he can't source the watch. Not really sure, but that's my best guess.

Personally, for better communication, I would suggest either Steve at Theonewatches or Li at Jtime for your first order. Sead is in my opinion, and others may disagree, a dealer for the more experienced rep fans.
When he said he ad tge watches I was interested in, I asked the price, country of origin, waterproof/water restistance meters and other pertinent questions and I got no response. I am new to reps but NOT to watches. I got no response. I look at the little details like the spindle. I think the little details make the difference. I will try him again but I am exploring other options.

All rep watches come from China. There are plenty of rip off sites out there that will tell you they are made in Switzerland etc. They are all lies.
waterproof/water restistance meters
Never trust a TDs statement or manufacturer claim about WR. Find a local watchsmith when you get the watch and have it tested. Some reps are constructed in a way that it takes a lot to make them water resistant. Most have perfect WR.

In Chinese culture people don't like to say 'no', or 'I don't know'. They would rather simply disappear and ghost you...
I guess this came into play when you asked detailed questions about country of origin, water resistance, spindle, etc.

I get the feeling that this works if the conversation is something like:
'Hi, I'd like 1 x VSF 126610 LN please'
'OK, total price is $593.6. Transfer to this bank account'.
But the TD is not Rolex presales support, nor are you talking to a microbrand. If I may be so bold, it's more akin to speaking to a drug dealer...

TD stands for "trusted dealer". they are dealers. They are the dealers among the hundreds of watch sellers on the internet that have proven that they are trustworthy

Thanks and I understand and I get that but I want high quality. I already own authentic high-end watches. If needing experience is required to buy a high quality rep from a TD with good watches, I fear being sold junk. I think telling people I am a woman might be a mistake. I feel the same way I do at a car dealership or picking up my car from a new mechanic. I am not the ideal client. Lol.

I am anything but an expect on replica watches (although I have dealt with Chinese factories for years in another field), but if I were you I would try to find the replica watch, factory, version, movement, etc that you want first. For example, in my case I want a Rolex 126610 LN rep. I have decided I want the replica made by the VSF factory (having read reviews, looked at copious amounts of photos, seen a few videos, etc). Then, armed with that, you can go to the TD and ask them if they can source that watch, from that factory, for you.

Hopefully that keeps things simple on the communication side.

Our messages crossed in the ether. But yes, I think that's the issue.
I think you need to decide the exact watch, colour, movement/calibre, replica factory first through your own research (here, Reddit and anywhere else you can find). Then you just go to the TD and say 'I would like 1 x XYZ please'.

That definitely simplifies things.

Thanks. You helped me simplify this process.
