I will be buying this watch soon. For an unusual reason.

My wrist is 6.5", narrow and deep, and as such, most of my heavy steel watches tend to slide down my wrist towards my hand. After wearing reps like this, and we all know they are heavy, I've developed pain in my wrist and upper hand when I wear a heavy watch all day.

This really bums me out, I have over 20 steel reps, been collecting about 25 years. Now I'm wearing a rep maybe 4 hours a day only.

So I've decided to look into titanium watches, the lighter the better. A lot of gen titanium watches have a tool or field watch vibe, which I'm not interested in.

This Octo though, very sophisticated design. Very cool and can't wait to get it.

So I looked up images of the Octo on a slim wrist and, it looks bad.

The watch wears bigger than 40mm, covers the entire wrist, the bracelet hangs straight down. It makes the wrist look like it's enclosed in a titanium block. Not a good looking sight.

I'll keep looking for an attractive titanium watch, never had one and am eager to try it out. I may look at RZE micro brand watches.

did you ever visit a Bvlgari boutique and try on your wrist? instead of looking at Google-d photo on other peoples' wrists

I've got a 7.5" wrist, I can wear any watch and yes it is a big watch but so thin it doesn't feel like a hockey puck. Super light, I've got the titanium, I love it!

Tries two today, the carbon and the titanium and loved the titanium one. It was great to see it in the shop, the seller says that it is nice on the wrist when you can see a bit of the whistbands from bosth sides (so it works if your wrist is not too thin. I am contacting TDs to buy one.

Absolutely fucking gorgeous watches, both of them.

May I ask if movement has "hacking" ability - stopping second hand?
Because I believe on cheap micromotor hacking is absent, like on Boderry watches
It doesn't hack.... in fact the movement is a little delicate... the crown when pushed in/out something doesn't engage well with the movement.

No chance. The ceramic version they released is just a PVD coated watch. No way could they pull off carbon.
That's correct.. It’s steel painted.

And what bugs me the most is the misplaced subdial. Otherwise is definitely gorgeous
