what happened here? sitting on two plate mods for rbii hoping for some great news, is there some to share??
So did i buy the Mikey plate just a bit too early? Or are you just trying some ideas out for your own parts?

Thanks, I need to buy different size dowels before I proceed further--I should have first sample plates this week though. Various technical challenges and documentation clashes have slowed this project, not just me. I needed to make the custom mobile bed for the plates, which I finally did, as the above photo shows. The set up is a little temperamental and I am still afraid of slicing myself to bits with these plates, LOL.
Difficult to capture the pattern of the CdG given the part's reflectivity, but the first pic showing the plate under the dial looks promising!

Yes, I am not a great photographer. The CdG is a little sloppy, as it is an early attempt. But luckily the sloppy parts are not exposed. I will improve on this effort soon.
These are, I think, V2, with CdG mechanically applied on them by me, and screws fixed on them afterwards.
