BTF full precious metal models are out!

Dissapointed on the Newman dial. The black looks to muted , the dial texture is to smooth and not grainy as the Gen. Red could be redder for my taste and the Daytona font is wrong.

Hopefully it is just the lighting....

Hi I am a user from China and I would advise you to wait for some review first.
Based on the review I read these precious metal model are not too well made.
The John Mayer one has much lighter green dial than Gen, the details are not so precise too.

Other color like White Gold and pure gold have serious mis-color.

The color of the case seems to be fine, not as shiny as Gen but acceptable.
The main problem is the dial color for most of these models...

Gold is a little cheddary in person - going to send to get replated. The rest of the watch is amazing. Dial is a great color including sunburst on sub dials.

It’s too orange for sure in most lighting. Nothing a replating can’t fix but makes it an $1,100 watch. In my opinion it’s pretty spot on in all other aspects other than the 4 on the bezel.

Who are you using to re-plate yours if they’re State side?

You can see the difference here. The DD40 was replated to gen color (it’s spot on).
