@ubi would you mind checking the CF crystal v1 please and see if the AR is external or internal?

It must be internal, that would be my guess. The CF probably tried making it with AR on v1 and did not do a good job...

I had a question about the crown: is it suppose to sit flush to the case when in the closed position?

I took this picture with the crown closed, but I couldn’t help but notice there’s a gap between the crown and the case. I purposely used a pink background to highlight this gap.

I was wondering is this normal for CF V2? I noticed this gap isn’t on other stainless steel models, for example a submariner.

If this is normal, does it mean that water resistance as well as dust and dirt resistance is reduced?

Just curious to see if fellow Clean Daytona owners have the same issue.

My V1 did not have this problem, here I had installed a Noob crown.

It doesnt look pretty, but even some gens have this after a service from the rsc. When its to tight to the metal like on Marks daytona usually the o ring is worn out and should be replaced to guarantee the waterproofness.

I have a Noob V3 Panda Daytona, Does anyone know if the Clean Factory Panda dial and Bezel will fit the Noob V3, Im about to have the 4130 movement serviced so would be a good time to change these parts. Hoping JTime can supply parts also.

Bezel maybe but for the dial im 99% sure that no one TD wont source dial only

I've had mine for a week or so now. Against the real one, I can honestly say there is really nothing tangible to separate them - maybe just the crown / pusher feel. Quite a remarkable rep really. the bracelet needed a bit of lubrication to make it more slinky but that's it. NWBIG?

Really speaks volumes on oh so many levels. A good friend of mine has been saying for years how overpriced gens can be. He can afford anything and has a gen or 2 as well. He's seen my reps and isn't amazed by them at all. It proves his point.

I wanted to add that my friend's point is that it's not a big deal to replicate a gen and that a gen is not that difficult/challenging to design/make. Whatever.

Been reading posts on both CF and BTF Daytona releases since the get go... Can we say that one is better than the other? Seems like on the black dial version, BTF V2 (updated shorter subdial hands) is the way to go. But what about the white dial? I'm not sure I know which factory would be best. Seems like BTF has better SEL and pushers (two lines visible vs one) but what about the dial?

for me, the btf White dial has sub-dials that are too thin and therefore also numbers cut into them
