Patina removed by soaking in lemon juice.

Dipped in salt water before new patina.

Placed into a tub with ammonia, Bottle cap used to keep the watch out of direct contact with the ammonia. Then sealed for about 10 minutes.

Cleaned lightly with a toothbrush and lemon juice to return it back to a light copper look.

I see a lot of people here dipping the watch in water or rinsing them under the tap, are they waterproof OTB or you waterproofed them after? Can i get in the water with my xf/vsf bronzo right after i get it or should i get it water tested/proofed? Thx in advance!
