Now that you mention it, I'm having a hard time justifying either of the avatar themes in question. Both get attention, but certainly not in a positive way. I like women as well as the next guy, but I have to say, it gave me pause when I saw the T&A shot. I thought I was on the wrong site. As for the diaper pic.....well, I can't say that I enjoy it at all.

Hate to be a downer about this 'cause no one likes to observe fine T&A anymore than I do, but I for one am happy for the restraint. While I'm surfing the forum in the evening, sitting next to my young son who is watching television, the LAST thing I need is for him to look over and see some fine T&A! In fact, I do not patronize some other forums just for this reason. I think that there is a time and place and this is neither. Be proud you're a horn-dog, but do it on a porn site. (Or at least on a special page.)

CBR has a point. Sort of. But in my defense I did contact PcSam and ask him to cover up his squirrel balls without consulting anyone on staff. I have made my stance known with a few others that push the envelope with regard to the "Artistic" argument. Let's all agree that some people like to push the envelope on this. CBR is no exception, neither is Gio. Since this is true and your having fun with it, please continue, we the staff still have a job to do, (as volunteers) to keep some order here as a "watch" forum.
If any member feels they are being singled out here, we could have all avatars moderated/approved before hand. I think that is fair but it's a ton of work and it's not fair to any of you or the staff IMO.
So I ask all of you to think of everyone else here when you post an avatar.

Sorry, I can't agree with this statement, at all. The staff is here to enforce rules as we see fit. This is not a democracy, we are all ALLOWED to be here and participate by the grace of the forum owners. That goes for staffers, too. If one of us is out of line, the forum owners will see that we are removed from our positions (or the forum, entirely).
If you find other avatars offensive, please feel free to voice your complaint(s) to one of the staff.
If you guys want to see "artistic" photos, there are, literally, hundreds of thousands of websites for that. This isn't really one of them, however.

Terry, I was making reference to the suggestion that it should have been put up for a vote. I don't see anything in AHWs post suggesting that a vote should have been held. Perhaps I missed it? Since I couldn't trust that they would be safe for viewing anywhere/anytime, I turned them off.

The other side to that argument is "Why should I *need* to turn off sigs and avatars?". What makes CBR's need for expression trump my need for work safe avatars?

I took it upon myself to diplomatically ask him to change it. CBR, respectfully did as I suggested. He could have kept it. I am old fashioned.
