D4ME please- what do you suggest! I have genuinely been really unlucky- would a different model be better- I really like the Skyland avenger is all...

I dont want to tempt fate and receive one with rubbish lume dots but I really do have a use for the chronos...

I'm sure no one thought you were, so don't worry about that. We just need to ensure we're all on the same page before trying to sort it all out. Chronos are notorious for being returned without being faulty, due to a lack of knowledge by the end user. This is obviously NOT the case here.

Hey Dude I have gone thru both the videos and yes the chronos are definitely #u(ked^p. I am sure D4M will and should stand behind his product.

He has contacted me- he is really good. But I dotn think he believed me seeing as I was a n00b. Its OK he's sorting it again and this time hopefully ill be 3rd time lucky!

As soon as I get the replacement I'll have ti water tested (to 5atm).

I really want one that functions 100% and looks just as good as so far Ive been relatively lucky with lume dots!

*frustrated* mind you poor d4me having to pay for shipping from china each time...

SMIDSY, you are becoming a seasoned collector now, keep your chin up, we've all had back to back misshaps with reps in some form or another, but the plus is you have RWI a place of well versed mods and members that can help and get you on the right path. This is a great hobby and a great community

I know- Im already saving up for a second but I want this one sorted though- TY for the kind comments thought- Just waiting to hear from D4ME when my replacements gettign shipped (but I knwo he's busy).

Still cant believe these probs with a V3! With a V2 maybe there are movement probs but Ive never heard of a V3 like this!

and I got unlucky twice :-[
btw whats the liklihood itll survie a 5atm pressure test from a watchsmith?

Lying, no.. one of a dozen each week who have no clue how to operate the watch, cant find the battery in their automatic watch, don't understand why the second hand is not "ticking" "moving" "sweeping" "clicking", dont understand why the hour subdial is not advancing after 5 minutes, ..

I think that I was fairly accurate in my description- but point made. I did honestly nothing wrong on either occasion- and as an engineer in training (and a pilot in training) I hope I would understand some aspect of watches...

Need some advice from you members- Been doing some more research into the 7750 movement and see there are lots of problems with the V3 but not the V2...

should I

1) take another replacement (so my 3rd V3)
2) get a V2 (but I hear this has issues too)
3) choose a different model completely?

D4ME am I genuinely unlucky? Im nervous now as to the longevity of this watch....

^ LOL if you think you are unlucky then you shouldn't be flying... LOL j/k. On a serious note I would not go twice for the same model let alone 3rd time would be very risky, keeping in mind the fact that they all come from same factory, which I do not think D4M have any control over it..., right?

Dude it is very difficult to suggest someone something. I would say you go to gemnation or other sites like that, select a model you like and source from whoever is the trusted one. Since D4M is extremely busy so I did not bother asking him instead I approached Hont

he is busy- Im waiting to hear an update from him... I liek him despite him being a little cold but I also like the look of the SA V3...

and all other models I like are 7750!
