Hi...I am looking for a Breitling Super Avenger with a SS band. I have bought a few reps in the past with Swiss ETA movements and after 4 years all are still in great shape and keeping great time. I would love to find a dealer that offers a decent SA with the Swiss 7750 movement in the place of the asian. Does anyone have any advise or can direct me? Or could someone give me an idea of what SA rep I sould be looking for.. Thanks..I have been away for a while and have spent the last 3 days reading the forums but still have no direction.

There was exactly the same thread. Puretime sells replica with ETA7750 - they are older version and probably were refurbished before sale. Here is the original thread

Thanks.. I checked that out. It looks like Puretime has only the Avenger Skyland with the 17j 7750..Not quite what I was looking for...could anyone else point me in the right directon? or maybe pont me to a TD who calibrates before shipping. What is the best version? I can see there are dealers sellng all three. Thanks for any help

just try your luck with the chinese movement then upgrade to an eta if you still loving it a year or so on. and personally id rather source a confirmed eta myself to be certain what your getting is a gen eta.
imo, but every1 is different!!!!

+1 on getting a SA with a7750 then swapping in a confirmed eta 7750 later, my first one I got 2 years out of the Asian before replacing it with a Swiss. I'd go for a v2 SA, overall it is the best version due to the correct colour AR, closest to gen bezel, water resistance and best case back.

matter of opinion i prefer v3, the batons dial is very very near gen the v2 batons is rank i own a v3 which is completely watertight and also the v3 pro 2 bracelet is so near gen its scary, the v2 pro bracelet is awful, there is many many threads on which version is best, thing is the sa would be a near perfect watch if you could combine all 3,personally you would love any versions of this watch mate i can guarantee that.
all the best

if your going to franken the watch id get a v2, if your not going to change anything get the v3
my opinion but hope this helps.

Biggest problem with the v3 is the AR colour is off to the point that I can call out a v3 from a considerable distance, further than any other rep. V2 AR is spot on. V3 bezel isn't as good as the v2 either but it's good enough, v3 case back sucks but no one is going to see that on the wrist. V3 sticks is better than V2 sticks but no better than v2 Arabic. In fact if you are lucky with the lume dots a v2 Arabic needs a loupe to call it out. V3 sticks the date window is an instant tell. Also it's hit and miss whether the sticks are lined up correctly and I've seen more bad ones than good. V3 by design has terrible water resistance so you might get lucky but if you plan on swimming with it you need to get it sealed to be safe.

Weighing up the AR, the bezel, the caseback and water resistance the best SA out of the box is the v2 with Arabic dial. Add a v3 proII for $70 and you've got a great watch. If you want a sticks dial get a v2 and add a gen dial because the rep one is a dead giveaway with the beveled date window (and in White it's the wrong colour entirely compared to the gen).

If you really want sticks and don't want to put in a gen dial then go v3 but avoid White because not only is the dial colour wrong but it shows up the wrong ar colour more than the black or blue dials, and study the QA pics closely to make sure the sticks are reasonably lined up.
