Yes fellas, some gens do have the thick hour marker surround ,so we can now cross that off our anal ocd ,list of flaws that only we would know about since we study these watches on a computer screen that makes them 50 times there original size for hours at a time... LOL

BP Sub is easily recognizable, because of their misaligned markers @9, and often @12.
This one has better markers alignment. But many other flaws.

That is what's bummed me out since I got into this game. I would NEVER buy a gen of anything repped unless from an AD. I am scanning ebay for a Breitling Superocean Heritage Gen and I just don't trust anything I see. It kills me that any one would drop 5k for a Sub when it is so pedestrian and the most copied thing out there. Any how, for those of out there on these forums doing this on ebay I hope you feel a little bad about it. Not saying anyone here is doing this but let's not stick our heads in the sand. I love reps but it is pretty shady that we can buy fake boxes with papers from TD's. Am I wrong here?

Not necessarily wrong. I hear what you're saying. The real reason why TDs supply these in the first place is for the serious collector who wants to take this hobby to that level. It is a shame that they may be used to scam people but lets apply that logic to guns. In the wrong hands they're a problem. But I don't think the solution is to ban them altogether

These watches are for fun and for hobby and agree that they are not produced to rip off people. Where your logic is flawed is that the controversies and questions of legality between fake products and guns are completely different. One is a question of stealing someones intellectual property and hence their livelihood whereas the other is a question of constitutional rights versus the potential downside of increased violence etc. Any how. Sounds like we are on the same side of the fence with all of it. I am awaiting my Noob V2 hulk and I notice ebay stuff that looks shady. Even from sellers with 100% feedback. I don't question the reputable jeweler but some sellers have a history of selling low price household junk and then suddenly they have an $8000 watch to sell?
