hey everyone,

after reading back and forth in this thread, I pulled the trigger on a BP SD but with a DG2813 ... thinking I'd change the movement later ....

But now I cant find info anywhere about a BP SD with DG2813.. I bought from DH gate from a seller with lots of good feedback and confirmations of BP SD deliveries in the comment section.. do you guys know if it was available with DG2813 or how it can happen? I also asked Trusty later and he said 2813 was not availbale from BP...

Hi ALL, i received my BP Sea Dweller w 2836 movement one week ago and the bezel diameter is only 39,40 mm.. specially the hours hand is a little bit greenish. will change the insert with a gen one and hands from helenarou.

So to put this issue to rest I measured my three BP SDs. The genuine Bezel is 39.4 and the two BP bezels are 39.4

Genuine is on the T25

facts, i am wearing one.

to the person above asking if they did ok with a purchase from a NON-TD here: good luck, but you get what you get with non-TD's, just the way it is.

So, as TC’s are no more available, how should we solve the bracelet issue in 2021?

I know Ginault bracelets are a solution, but they dont match the gen, still need a branded clasp and cost quite a bit.

so I guess we need a gen-matching bracelet with a better clasp than BP and a fair price?

Ginault + add on a crown from a donor bracelet clasp is doable.

I’ve just got one of these with a 3135 and I’m super happy with it, perfect weight and size for me, winds super smooth with a lovely sweep. Bracelet was rattly when it arrived but a good workout in bay oil and it’s absolutely acceptable. I had a tcv6 from new with a gen clasp and I have no issues with the bop at all apart from the clasp is a little loose, if I can’t tighten it I’ve got my old Tc clasp anyway. I don’t plan to mod it, only thing I’d do is service it, I’m not intending to go down the gen parts rabbit hole like I did with my Tc!

would be intesting to compare the back from the dhgate 2813 watch and compare with the back from other TD. I wonder if a swap with 2826 is possible and issues with datewheel

I’ve put an ARF bracelet on the BPSD, and one of the SEL was loose (6 o’clock side I think). It may be a spring bar issue, but I didn’t have any spares to try.

Besides that, the ARF bracelet doesn’t have polished sides.
