I have only a TC KH dial without markers... it would be a shame to test it on a dial like that. I just asked Domi about how to clean the dial. I'm just waiting for his reply.

Yes I thought about that but I'm afraid to damage the paint so it's not shiny anymore

Don't try with acetone or nailremover, this will damage the paint of the dial.

however, unfortunately I don't think that this can be removed leaving the dial 100% intact .... but still expect a response from domi about this...

Not groped to experience the removal of glue on the additional BP stock dial that you have because if this TC is damaged you could use these KH markers/index on the stock BP dial as an alternative, to have in any case an alternative dial and not having buy another new...

I did it [emoji4] I just used acetone-free nailremover. It worked great. The dial is looking as new and the adhesive is gone.

I will take some pictures in the sunlight tomorrow.

Thanks for chiming in!

Will take note of that: acetone-free nail polish remover I presume Lartamia?

Thx mate. I'm very satisfied! Here's a pic from the remover I use - maybe interesting for members from Germany. Seems to be pretty good for cleaning the whole dial. It took away all dusts and other dirt.

I envy you guys in EU and North America. You get the good stuff. But it would not be a remote possibility that there's an Asian version of that. Still looking for Testors Dullcote Lacquer with no luck, he he.

Gentlemen, may I join the BPSD party? Finally arrived yesterday and thanks to the generosity of rolex79! Got too excited I just noticed I failed to clean up a bit, so I beg your indulgence.

She's whole again!

Love that SEL fit of a TC bracelet

Lugs with subtle chamfers?

And the wristy. Not too shabby nor bulky at all despite my thin wrist.

Can't wait for the gen crown from @RSH! Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the kind words, Sir M_Hall!
It's nothing like yours, of course, but I derive inspiration from your mods and that of Thrasher's. I will take this one baby step at a time as I don't have access to a reliable watch smith where I am. So everything has to be plug-and-play mods, nothing too crazy. I would love to have a gen crystal mod, but Ado is on the far end of the globe, he he. It's got a TC Elabore, so the next mod would be the gen crown I picked up from the original modder of this baby, @RSH! Long way to go...

this is very good news mate! I am happy for you. In the past I had tried to do this on a dial as an experiment and it had lost the glossy finish and remained the halo near index. At this point I think it was a cheap dial LOL

Wow. I would have never had the balls to do that, but you really had no choice.
Glad it worked out.

Looking for someone in Koh Samui, Thailand/ and Beijing, China. Pm me if you live there.
