Lol yeah I know. I've been wearing mine stock for 9 months and loving it. Although I look forward to putting the tc bracelet on, mine has the clasp problem. Also my crown has been shut since I got the watch so the gen crown will be nice. I can't fault the time keeping on the Asian movement as it's been fantastic.
I'm sending mine off to adrian this week and look forward to seeing how much more incredible it will be with all the mods

Yeah it's great out the box but after Adrian adds his special pixie dust to it the watch goes up a level that's for sure.
The HE valve is the only real tell on mine, not recessed like the gen and the coating not quite right but other than that it's flawless.

Hey, it is all personal preference, and what one is willing to put the time, effort, and money into it.
Myself, I am happy with everything including the bracelet, I think the only mod this one will see is a Prof-xtal

From what I remember my stock bezel was nice it just didn't feel that solid but I'm sure by the time Adrian has finished you'll be happy. Gen bezel is quite a subtle difference it's just shines a little more.

I was, and still am a big fan of the Asian clones but I have to admit the ETA Adrian installed for me keeps unbelievable time.

The clones work (mostly) but do not compare to the swiss eta. I even prefer the eta 28xx to the 6r15 in my seiko, 6r15 is still a good movement.

The most obvious way to tell a rep bezel from a genuine are the tool marks in the scallops. Reps are horizontal and genuine s are vertical.
