Hi everyone, new member here, just wanted to say thanks for keeping this thread going. This is my first foray into the rep world, after reading what seems a gazillion threads and posts I have sent an enquiry to Seed for a 2836 BP Classic Sea Dweller, just waiting for his next reply. I will post some shots once it arrives for sure. Thanks, Jim.
Two completely different watches. Cases, dials, bracelet. So different. Why would you not be deciding between the noob sd 116600 v2 and the bpsd?Unable to decide between the sub C or the BP SD
Any suggestions or points to be noted to narrow down my choice ?

Well, mine leaked after an afternoon in the pool - Strodda took a look and found that it was a faulty tube - now mine is ok to 4-5 ATM water testing.
I said sub c not sd and also what exactly is a maxi case and what is the bpsd bezel made up of ?Two completely different watches. Cases, dials, bracelet. So different. Why would you not be deciding between the noob sd 116600 v2 and the bpsd?
Do you want a maxi case with ceramic bezel or a classic case?

I know what you said. I'm saying it makes more sense to compare the 5 digit sd with the 6 digit sd, not the 5 digit sd with a 6 digit sub. You should research 5 digit sub and sd as well as 6 digit sub and sd. Then decide which of the four you like best and if the rep of the one you like best is up to your standards. That being said the bpsd (5 digit) is fantastic and great for adding tc or gen parts too in order to make better. The noob sd v2 (6 digit ) is great Otb but not so great for modding with gen parts. All that aside the most important thing is to decide if you like classic or new.I said sub c not sd and also what exactly is a maxi case and what is the bpsd bezel made up of ?

I like the 16600 because of the sexy lugs and crown guards, I prefer the less busy bezel.

Yeah no problem. I would Google search reviews on 116610, 16610, 116600 and 16600. Read reviews on the gens to see the differences and what you like and don't like. Then read reviews on the reps of the gens

The 9015 wont work with TC hands. You should get the 2836 movement.
First parts arrived for my build.

First gen crown I've seen, and to be honest Noob are very close, brighter steel on Gen but coronet is very close.

Your going to really struggle with that gen bezel assembly, there is machining work to get this on nicely. When you come to fit it and if you need any advice send me a pm and I'll try and help you by pm.
I wouldn't say "wrong". In gen The clasps are identical with only 93160/93250 stamping differentiating them. TC new sub clasps are MUCH better than the SD clasp. I would take a 93250 clasp with a great coronet etc.. Over a inferior correct marking 93160.
Just IMO.
