BP/GMF Cellini Moonphase mini review

The EWF version was just released Aug 18, 2021. The video on Trusty shows the date and the moon subdial in action. The hour hand jumps in crown position 2 to change the date (my BP does not), and when the date changes both in position 2 and position 3, the moon icon moves clockwise like the gen (the BP is CCW), and it moves the correct full increment of 1/29th (approximately) around the circle.

Have the EWF in hand and it's amazing! Will keep it and order a custom strap for it, the strap is curved so my normal straight edged straps won't fit properly.

Probably not worth going gen at this point but I'll decide again when the call comes.

Honestly it’s a dress watch that won’t be a daily beater and which you’re buying a custom strap for, not having a SS bracelet. If you’re happy with it, I really don’t see the point of going gen on this watch.

How is the RG color bro? I know nothing can compare to gen but some rep RG colors are, well not so pretty to put it nicely.

The RG looks good to my eyes, I don't have a gen RG to compare it to so I'm not sure about the colour accuracy

Can you comment on the operation of the date changing and moon subdial operation? Does the moon dial increment clockwise in 29 steps, one step per date change? And the date changes by hour jumping in crown position 2?

If you are interested in keeping the moon dial accurate, this app is truly amazing.

Finally got this in my hand. It’s a pretty and I have replaced it with a quality brown leather.But I have noticed the hour hand is slipping and may not advance per hour.

Oh bummer. Does it tell time correctly and you just can't hour jump?

The minute hand is working fine. Just the hour hand seems to be struck sometimes.
