Well you can't do a pppp mod on this, the scratch part will definitely damage the coating. So you have to live with white numbers, that's all I'm saying ;-)

I (personally) don't think the PPPP mods look any closer to gen than the stock numbers do anyway. It's just a different kind of wrong, so whatever. Even the best done ones don't look completely right, and then there's some of the really really horrid and sloppy ones I've seen people do.

If you want it to look like a gen you're going to need a vaccum sputtering setup and the correct plat or gold mix to coat it with. Not likely

Well PPPP mod, or all other insert paint mods are out of the question with this coating.
Because the chance of damaging the coating is just to big.
And that's not a good thing in my opinion. I want to use/mod a watch not only look at it because otherwise my paint may come of.

Please try and scratch the black part of the insert to see how durable it is..;-)

if the mod is done properly it is very gen like. i have a gen bezel and have done a great deal of side by side comparisons. ultimately the poor engravings and incorrect font on
the reps conflicts with my ocd too much.

others are right here in that scratching that black painted part will probably not go too well.
