Great post Bonesey. I hope the next twelve months are as fruitful as the last.

And don't forget, as I wont, you're a watch doctor now. ;)

Happy new year my friend and huge thanks for your splendid contribution to RWI.

Excellent progress in just a year, Bonesey! You're becoming a mad scientist. Might contact you soon for some 5512 mods if you still fancy some rollies :)

You've got my rookie vote now!

Oh, and by the way, I can see your future. It's goes a little something like this.

6152 then a vintage rad, then a 6154, and then a EGI.

Good luck with the builds! ;)

I must say I am tempted to buy in some bits and bobs for Pam vintage stuff. See how it works out. I have a sort of 2533 mashup homage on the way from Neckyzips in teh USA in trade for my 1675. A vintage sterile rad with running seconds at 9. But EGI's are just far too big. I'm wondering even if the fiddy I've pre-ordered will be too big for me :p

Another PAM convert. Hmm, still don't get it. But great story and fun to read. Thanks.

Outstanding Bonesey! Lost track of you sometime prior to "the change". Rather sad really. I hope Rolex still has a place for you "in the box", somewhere...

Recently I started noticing the slew of PAM's on your wrist. Same old tawdry story; buy one and all of a sudden you have a gut wrenching credit card statement at the end of the month. New "shoes", buckles, crown guards and other miscellaneous parts... and 10 "fecking" PAM's!!! One can sympathize.

I was also somewhat surprised. They're PAM's for feck's sake... ;)

Given the scope of this thread, it just reinforces WHY I think you deserve to be "2011 Rookie Of The Year"

You've set the bar my friend. Thank you.

I'm beginning to think I should have set some kind of bar, probably on my bank card :p

Rolex still has it's place in my heart, but unfortunately most of the rolex reps can't hold a candle to the quality of the more recent PAM releases. It's usually the bracelet that holds them back I would say. I still have my ceramic black sub in pieces. Just got a gen swiss movement back from Wiz and ordered some superlume hands from Helenarou. Hope that I can get that back together this time off. Unfortunately I scratched the dial a little bit when I was taking it apart so not sure. Might even convert it into a sterile custom job or something.

Really like the new no date sub that Trevor has as well. Might be tempted.

Probably a symptom of most rep collectors in the first year. Go overboard and regret it.

Awesome thread from an awesome guy..
I still remeber the long Corcovado's nights LOL
Its so effn funny to remember when you only talk about rollies and didnt understand the Pam's guys..
And see you going from brand to brand (Some really awesome and beyond scale threads) and then land in to the PANERAI MADNESS ...
And now you have almost every great PAM out there..
Also became quite and expert here (knowledge, modding, photographer)
Warm regards My friend..
What a ride....
