Blasted & relumed SubC

I picked up a sub to try some things so I thought I'd post the results. The watch itself is a Canal St. 21J. I did a fine media blast, removed the rehaut engraving and relumed with Noctiluma. Oh, and I removed the cyclops but that's obvious.

That is so not in your face it's in your face. I gotta have one. Will you make one for me? I'm an idiot and could never begin. Please, oh, please please please!

Every view except from the front?

Looks cool though.

I'll get those outside because the lighting in here is miserable. I mainly wanted to share the finish. The dial and insert are unchanged except for a chip in the ceramic by the previous owner.

Looks great thus far, look forward to your daytime photos.

What media blaster do you use? Is it a bench top concealed model?

I will be selling this one but it does have a small chip in the bezel insert. Pics to follow...

It's an ancient, huge cabinet about 5-6' tall (including hopper). I've used it for years but just got the idea to shove a watch in there. I do intend to get a smaller cabinet for projects like this though.

The finish is much more smooth in person, like grey paint. It feels that way also.

Yes, some frontal shots would be good.

Kudos to you for even trying this out.
