I've ordered 2 from AliExpress. They were only £35 each so worth a try!? The seller sent me a video of item. Looks good.. Especially for the money...
I think we sometimes overthink this stuff. For $35, if it ticks and roughly approximates the plastic gen, it's not too bad of a deal.

I think there were a couple threads going simultaneously, with some posting their feedback and experiences. IMO, they're equivalent to the rep Moonswatches, as far as bang for the buck goes. Not perfect, 1:1 copies by any means, but pretty good approximations at a very attractive price. If you can live with it not being a perfect copy, I'd say they push the gens into NWBIG territory. They're 1/10 of the cost, and about 90% accurate, depending onyour criteria, and these aren't the kind of watches that are going to get you outed because you're wearing something you couldn't afford in real life. A fast food worker with a APROO, or a pipe fitter with an 18k Daytona is a pretty obvious tell; but just about anyone can pull off a $300-400 Swatch IRL.
