This is a little early probably. I dont know how those recent raids affected ZFs future plans but let's hope the 5008D was included in those plans and will come to fruition as a rep in the near future. For purely selfish reasons, tell your TDs to spread the word about the BP 5008D.

The watch hound in me would die a happy dog if this was on my wrist, gen or rep.

Post relevant news, rumors and general information about the new no rad and newer 40mm BP models alike.

Although, I’m not a fan of those sail material straps. They’re generally too stiff (certainly the reps) and don’t melt around the wrist in the way id like. Think I’d wear it on nato or a custom Black ammo leather strap

So this strap its on above and likely the one they'll rep is actually rubber. Its meant to emulate the vintage tropic straps.

Also btw, if you want to try a sailcloth that doesn't suck, get a "brady sailcloth" off ebay. Most conformable straps after a little break in.

To be honest, any 40mm BP would be a nice start. I was really holding out for the milspec FF 40mm but that has been almost 2 years with little news before the raids put a dampener on things. I don't know what the current raid situation is but I really hope that ZF is still beavering away on 40mm reps.

But yeah, that No Rad is bloody gorgeous.

While you wait, you can get the old Noob no radiation? Here's mine, along with ZF

I have had a few of them, I bought noobs v1 years ago too when it was released. Too big. +40mm isn't practical, I work with my hands so big watches get in the way. 40mm is the sweet spot.

Keep in mind this is coming from a tall drink of water, who at first was ONLY wearing large watches. Everything 44mm or less felt like a ladies watch.

Its all perspective and taste, mine just changed. I want this 40mm so bad I can taste it.

Yeah I agree on the size of the watch, for me 40-42mm is ideal size. With the raid going on right now, the best bet is to go vintage but davidsen's no rad is not precise rep and he's also unresponsive.

I agree, its gonna be a wait, if it comes at all, methinks Davidsen has retired.

I have the ZF FF and it is the biggest watch i own, sometimes is very hard to fit in my wardrobe
The problem is i just adore the hands of the big one, couldn't live with the smaller ones

All I wanted for Christmas was a 40mm no-rad yet factories make those ugly green dialed blancpains, come on.

With a little modding, 580 endlinks fit. I love bracelets, not perfect but will do! not having one for this kills me. I'm gonna make a custom clasp and stamp it with JB.

And I honestly don't know why they haven't. Need a dial and bezel insert. Case is already present with the Barrakuda
