does not look small to me though unless he has the smaller wrist

With no bezel, the face on a 38mm watch doesn't look particularly small. I'm expecting it to wear similarly to the 39mm Explorer I, which doesn't come up small on my 7" wrist.

I'm a sucker for a no-date with numerals on, so if they do the Aqualung dial, I'd probably have that too!

Wow, this is almost spot-on save for the obviously sticking out crown. The rep even copied gen's weird looking seconds pin!

Not bad for a first try, not bad at all. Thickness seems to be about perfect too.

They should definitely make a FF 50 anniversary version with this as a base.

I think the crown is unscrewed as have seen other pics where it sits flush with the case.

Just receive mine from Sead today. A lot smaller than I'm used to wearing but very classy looking.

Bracelet is nicely made with screws on both sides and a bar inside. I must be at an odd size since I couldn't completely center the deployant on the back. Wish there was a half link but it's not ridiculously out of whack or anything. Lume is great as well as the blue tinted AR as per gen (just like on the noob BPFF!).

Miyota movement is a bit noisy but only if it's an inch away from your ear. The stem and crown feel solid as well as the date change. Will post more photos when I have time with my SLR.

Got mine the other day and am really pleased. The bracelet was only just big enough for my 7" wrist so go for the leather strap if you're more girthy than me!

Fit and finish is superb it looks good against my Noob Fifty Fathoms. The bracelet is nice as it isn't tapered so doesn't look like a toy/ladies watch around the clasp. Lime is good and the Miyota runs perfectly.

All in all I'm very pleased with the watch, I wanted something to go easily under a shirt cuff without being a dress watch and this is spot on, the fact that I love the Trench Watch style military dial is a bonus.

A short video for all those considering. Really nice watch, simple and solid.

Yeah it's subtle and simple looking. Also the thinnest watch I own currently, so it is easy to get under and shirt cuff. I think it looks very unassuming, but you can always know that you have (even if it's a rep) a Blancpain dress watch on - and you've got instant props from Putin for wearing his watch :punk:

My only gripe is the bracelet sizing. I have I believe a 6.5" wrist and if I took one more link out it'd be too tight - but with it properly sized to my wrist you'll notice the deployant is a bit offset. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it'd be nice if there was a half link in the bracelet somewhere.
