Very exciting release from DDD factory the Bathyscaphe Quantieme or complete calendar.

The bracelet is , finished and brushed beautifully. There’s a couple of differences I noticed with gen.

The first major thing is the gen has 4 pin pushers, 2 on each side and this only has 2. 1 on each side. So wonder how that will affect the complication adjustment.

The other is the day and month font is different but that’s quite common on rare reps.

I think it looks fantastic, at first it was a bit too busy for a Bathyscaphe but the more I look at it the more it grows on me.

Not bad! Glad to see that they're still doing some BP models.

Some SEL fitment to be desired and the crystal could be better but I won't nitpick or complain about this too much, the fact they're still being made makes me happy.

Also, just a mini rant. How tf did Blancpain make a diver that is the same dimension 13.8mm thick, and then managed to release the same watch with same dimension but with a full complete calender??? The original bathyscape 43mm should only be 11mm thick!!!!

Sadly the problem with Blancpain reps is that none come close to the level of finishing the gen movements have. If you've ever held one in person you'd understand!

You're correct, i'm happy that DDD repped this model, at 558 $ with a full ceramic case + bracelet is fantastic !

That said, the Real Deal is astronomical

I’m usually sheepish at being one of the first, just recently it backfired and I have a broken ceramic AP bracelet, doh!

This in green is a dream watch for me though. Can’t believe they actually repped it.
