Just curious, I’m new to reps and I’m very interested in the BB58. Is the long tubes still an issue, and if you spot it in QC pics will they correct it or refund you if they can’t?
It is known that a perfect crown tube is not available yet. Even the best batches still have a slightly longer crown tube from what I can tell. Therefore, if you expect a perfect crown tube, it will be practically impossible to GL any QC pics.

Received today. What's the opinion on V1 or v2. The crown tube feels a tad long but maybe acceptable ??

anybody here knows how to fix this? Not sure what the right terminology is but the tiny “balls” have all been pushed back into the clasp. Only 1 remains protruding out (marked in purple)

Looks good to me. The tube is slightly longer than the gen, but all reps are at present. it's not a tell and yours is one of the better ones I've seen. Congratulations on your new watch!

I shortend the crown tube, in general it is an easy fix. You simply have to grind the crown tube a little bit, after that you must adjust the length of the crown stem. If I had put everything back together right, with a little more patience it woud be a half an hour job. But I don't have any expereance working with watches so when I put the crown stem back in I damaged the colsing mechanism. The watch is now at the watchsmith for a service I will post pics when it's back. The crown length is perfect now I think. We will see in a few weeks. Overall an expensive mistake that will cost me 300€ but to think positive, the movement should be fine after the service.

for 300 euro you could easily have a genuine swiss eta in there. seems pretty steep for just that repair.
