I’m pretty sure that there have been photos posted of much shorter tubes. They were still too long compared to Gen though.

I’ve asked Angus from Puretime if he knows if a V3 is possible, but no response yet in that thread...

Well this is what I'm receiving and the tube looks perfect in my opinion, I'd try to get another one if I were you

I just received a v2 from Sead. The tube is also still tad too long but it is not really visible in real life. Please excuse the bad pics but I think the tube is a bit too long with all examples.

Better to stay away from 58 till v3 with tube fix, this tube is so awful, they fixed it with v2 and now they try to feed v1 tube with v2 dial, what's next? Feed v1 dial with v2 tube? Lol...

It’s awful, I should have gotten the V2 when the good crown tubes were used...

And who knows if and when a V3 will be released...

Yes, v2 out just after the v1 failure was on top.

Thought v2 was good, but more and more a popping up wit tube issue

Not all the tubes, my QC and the tube from karres QC seem to be correct. But its apparently like a lottery, not a good time to order the BB58.

Has anyone modified the crown tube already? Is there a good how to video somewhere?
I looks like you can only order the correct lumen dial but the case is the old long tube version again.
Would appreciate some tipps. Really like the bb58.

I can't push enough springs to take out first link.

Use a jeweler's screw driver. Remove the bracelet links first.

Not sure what you mean, but it is just tight fitting, you need to wiggle it a bit.

All but one of my spring bar tools was too large for the narrow port to access the spring bars. Try using the smallest tool you have or a small flat head screwdriver.
