Hello,
i have ordered some watches from Puretime. I like the shop and i hope i get help.

My story:

On May 8th i ordered two watches. One PAM 386 and a Breitling Superocean Heritage Chrono.
Two weeks later i received the watches. But they are not in the condition i have ordered it. The PAM 386 have a problem. The crown guard was mounted upside and only fixed with one screw. The second screw was missing. See the atteched picture.
The Breitling Superocean have wrong hands (hands from a Omega Planet Ocean) and a wrong date window. The numbers were white and the Background colour black. See the atteched picture. In normal case are the numbers black and the background colour is white.
I contacted Puretime and the stuff say the will fix them. The Breitling Superocean i keep, because the watch worked well and i can life with the mistakes.
The PAM 386 i shipped back and paid 10 Dollar for repair, although it was not my mistake that the crown guard is mounted upside and only fixed with one screw.
Today it is four months later i do not become the PAM 386 back, because Puretime is unable to repair it. I do not get a replacement or my money back.

But the story continues.

On June 26th i ordered a Tag Heuer Carrera and a Hublot Big Bang. I received this watches and they were ok.

On July 7th i ordered a Omega Planet Ocean with ETA movement. I received two weeks later the watch. But what must i see. The Omega is not ok. The crown wobble and fall out. I contacted Puretime and they say Puretime repair it. I shipped the watch back to Puretime and until now i did not get it back, because the maker of Puretime is not able to repair it. I do not get a replacement or the money back.

On August 11th i ordered a Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch from Puretime. Two weeks läter i received the watch. And it was terrible. I unpack it and the Chronograph Buttons are loose and fall out. See atteched picture. Puretime tell me to send the watch back and they will repair it. But i know from the other watches that Puretime is not able to repair it. So i told Puretime to give me the money back or ship a replacement. Puretime would not do this.

On August 27th i orderd a IWC Big Pilot Top Gun and on August 31th a Rolex Date Just. I hope i receive this watches in a good condition.

From 5 watches i received are 3 watches not ok. And Puretime do nothing. That is really terrible. I am patience, but 4 months are to long.

I think the Quality Control of Puretime is only sell talk, because if they really check the watches this mistakes are not possible.

I hope i get help from a mod or the admin and Angus will solve my problems fast.

Best regards

Sorry to hear of your problems but I don't think I would have continued ordering from a TD if I was having problems with them.

Whilst it doesn't excuse the errors but

a: did you get sent QC pics and did you OK them?
b: why did you send the PAM386 back when all you had to do was get them to send you a CG screw??
c: For the Breitling, again, this is something you should have picked up in the QC process. This is what the QC process is for. It is not the QC persons job to know 100% every single model variation of hands and of datewheel. That's your job to do this.
d: Ok the Omega is bad luck.

Shipping back to the dealer is a long and tricky process. You would save a lot of time and stress in future working with our watchsmiths on here for repairs maybe. Definitely take less than 4 months.

Also, if you have problems with them you can use our helpdesk to open a ticket.

c: I keep the Breitling because it works well and i can life with this mistakes
d: not only the Omega PO is bad luck the Omega Moonwatch too

Thank you for your information. I will open a helpdesk ticket.
Puretime is a trusted dealer of this board and so i believed that Puretime is ok.

what does it take for a trusted seller to become a non trusted seller ?
i would have thought they should at least send you the watch they show you in the pic
as been said i would have only sent an order once , till i knew what the seller was like

Here is the QC Picture from Puretime from the PAM 386. Compare it with the picture from the watch i received (First Post).

well imho they should be struck off the trusted seller list .
we send them the money in good faith , and money is hard earnt these days .
if thats the best they can do , they best avoided.
i wish you all the best with your probem

You cant keep repeating the same behavior and expect a different outcome. I personally would not have gone past the first snafu. I think you are their goose that laid golden eggs. I hope you get it sorted and switch dealers in the future. Truly sad to hear these things.

If they have sent you the watch not pictured in your QC pictures then this should have been brought to the mods attention a lot sooner than now. This is what the helpdesk and the forum moderators are for.

I cant believe you just kept ordering new watches when you already had troubles... Also that is a long time you waited! You should have contacted someone of the stuff long time ago, thats why they are here, for situations like these...

As the other guys said, contact the moderators as soon as possible, this is not good customer service...
