Beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing your pics and insight. If you don’t mind me asking, where is stainless steel stamped on the case?

Theoretically, you can change the belt - the buttons work great.

BUT- ZF was "clever" (attention: irony!) enough to use a different width of metal strap than Hublot original. This means that the Hublot gen bracelets have minimal wider metal bars and therefore you cannot click the Hublot bracelet into the watccase. If I may say so, that is very stupid! You build a really good watch that comes close to the original in terms of quality and feel, and then you fail because of the width of the metal bars. Unbelievable.

Pity, because the gen straps fit the V6 Hublot builds. Not perfect, but they fit.

It looks really good on your wrist mate. May I ask what is your wrist size?

Shame about the straps, I think it is a big mistake from ZF as they don’t seem to offer any strap choice

Do you guys think there is any way to mod the jewels on front to be the right color? I know it’s a very small difference but it’d drive me crazy and its honestly the only thing holding me back from getting this watch. Unfortunately, this is not a popular enough release where I’d expect a V2 any time soon so modding may be the only option (kinda like what ABD does for the RM watches)

The unico zf is garbage.. the deployment strap button protrude outside of case so the slightest touch deploys the strap and it falls off wrist .. the gen is flush with the case as to avoid this problem .. I lost mine within 1 month

What is the diameter of the bezel exactly? 42mm or 45mm?

There is a discrepancy with the colored ceramic models. 45mm model actually measures 42mm, whereas 42mm model is actually just 39mm.

I'm back into this watch and I'm seriously considering to pick it up.\
@Steve McGarrett Do you think that the straps for Unico of another size will work?
They have this new amazing velcro strap for Unico and I'm hoping I could somehow use it with ZF Unico.

Also I may have missed it, but these are the reps of 44mm Unico, right? At least the basic titanium/ceramic bezel models.

I don't think original bracelets will fit. The connectors are a bit too wide. I will never understand how something like this can't be overlooked during development. Sad. Especially since they produce other models of the same size - 44 mm is correct - with a connection on the case where all original Hublot straps fit.

Thanks! So if I understood correctly, some BB 44mm models can fit the gen straps? But none of the newer ZF BB Unicos?

Correct, I had also an 44 mm BB Ferrari from the same maker - and here the gen straps fits without problems.

They get everything down to a micrometer when it comes to all the elements of the watch. And then they kneecap it like this..... not sure what else I can say...

Do you think there is enough interest for a v2?

Do you have more pics?
Is this
It's a great watch, there's nothing like it! But... how can ZF manage not to make the metal parts of the interchangeable straps analogue gen?

I still have an older Ferrari (401.OQ.0123.VR), I don't know which manufacturer it's from, but all the gen straps fit perfectly!

Otherwise, the workmanship, feel, etc. is really really good! The case will also be titanium, and the total weight means it can't really be stainless steel. The only question is - why do they stamp "stainless steel" on the clasp? :picard2:

Here a quick first foto-

Is this the ZF Unico in 42 mm? It looks really great but how does the size and the weight compare to the gen in 42mm? Also where can I buy this :) thanks in advance!
