it scratches too easily to be Ti...

Hmm, as far as I know, titanium scratches more easily than steel...

apparently so... look what I found on a forum: scoring 6.0 on the Mohrs Hardness scale compared to the 4 - 4.5 of steel. The reason to why it scratches is that Titanium oxidises easily and the surface dulls, this oxidised coating is less strong than the Titanium itself and as it is darker than the metal beneath scratches are more visible than they would be with stainless steel.

i've been reading lots on IB with Ti & W bezels. to be honest, i'm really in a dilemma. i wanted to get the one with the W bezel from Angus. but looking at the Ti bezel version, there isnt really 'much' difference on appearance and 100 bucks in price different. PLUS, the new evo has got me drooling. should i get a Ti bezel one along with an evo OR should i just get the W bezel version? dont mean to hijack this thread, i just want to get the general idea of what people think. not in a rush to get one though. all these HBB reps are driving me crazy and forced me to sell both my IB and AB lite!
