Bezel and Dial Review of ZZF V2S 116610LV Submariner and Comparison vs. Gen, ARF V3 and Noob V10

People Obsess over sel fit, then you take look at that gen that’s used. Zzf stacks up well I think. In some lights ( earlier pics)the dial looks same, in sun there is a difference but it’s a rep, Unless together like that you’d never see it, you only see it coz you know, even the better dials had shit colour lume and Square plot surrounds, always a trade off.

remember these are static pics and differences are even easier to see this way.

Hello bro I've allready said the dial is meh at first I thought it was amazing, Because the markers are really gen looking fire.but the dial can't really handle green and black properly at once these clean zzf dials seem to display a weird fan like sun burst on these new peices I'm seeing on here and in my pms maybe a batch issue ?not that major only visable in certain light, but,i love the almost perfect layout though if you ignore the rolex text lol

There are better dials out there bro But saying all that the dial is cool but I dont rate it as much as I used to but its decent enough but I want better way better .markers on the dial= fire though first glance the dial looks straight gen but look closer and it reveals itself.im still fan of bp/gmf/vrf combo dials with this clean factory zzf markers installed if you cant pay dumb cash for a gen hulk dial

after your post, i think it may not be the right time to buy the ZZF LV and wait a little longer haha


I really thought dial and bezel would be almost identical. after the last photos the dial is noticeably lighter than the forest green of the gen

and i'm a noob with the hulk

Insert is fire it's looking really close in the recent pics some dude posted on here with his JENNY
and for Rolex text the only issue I see is the really fucked up x from the v2 but this is the same watch with the new colour on that insert only

my bk noob v9 insert (spongebob) is little bit to tight too compared to gen. after a couple of weeks is getting better but not gen like.

for me its a big tell

Do people usually ask you to rotate your bezel to check if your watch is legit? lol

The irony is that the dial's golden chatoyancy effect is quite lovely- just not gen lovely.

that was joke better than gen mate,i said because gen have more gap (from years of usage maybe) ... zzf have very nice sel,with no gaps and very good recession( not 100% like gen)

It’s a great rep.

we here like to hark back to previous version from other factories a on how one element was potentially better but as a whole they were a lot worse than this,people still wore them and still Do.

This version has lots right for the eye, IMO I find it more about if it looks right in hand and not off.

Most of the other reps versions had something that looked wrong the moment you get it out the package you waited for for ages. Ugly pearls, rough insert engravings, dark/ white insert engraving, insert colour, terrible date fonts, flat hands hands and dial lume mismatch, flat hands, hands to close to the dial, Flat square lume plots.

When I see this watch in the “what are you weari threads” on a glance It’s caught me out a few times that it could be gen” I’ve not seen a rep that I couldn’t see straight away was rep.

This has the least flaws of an OTB rep we’ve had. There will always be difference, the trouble With the other factory versions it was A culmination of many differences.

Insert is so closed to gen after oil bad is bracelet smoothly a oil bad is a muss. i would not change to ARF
clasp or bracelet. Dial, chrystal and DW is on wrist good enough, a update to gen chrystal will not better Dial
and DW you see the difference only in makro shoots or ealge eyes, will spends the funds in another top rep

for me is this awsome rep and wear it what it is best ootb

Thanks bro if you still have gen for comparison if you could do one more,on lower sunlight and not direct,how is sunburst in that enviroment compared to gen

I've been following this thread from day one. It's funny, but also interesting, the swing feelings and OCD from many members. Seriously, if your biggest grip with this rep is "sunburst", you just should go get a gen or switch to another rep. BTW I own the V2 which is amazing, but couldn't resist the appeal of the "improved bezel color and numerals", so now waiting for V2s QC, lol.
