Bezel and Dial Review of ZZF V2S 116610LV Submariner and Comparison vs. Gen, ARF V3 and Noob V10

Are you suggesting upgrading to a Prof Black hole xtal or all the way up to gen xtal?

I got a Prof sitting in my cupboard ready to go.

Also I would say that my phone is awful at picking up the green tone of this thing. It looks much better than this picture

Wow the ARF is significantly better than this? The ARF bracelet must be pretty amazing because the ZZF bracelet seems pretty solid to me even compared to my gen sub and explorer 2.

Not sure if its an outlier but my v2 ZZF bracelet was amazing, almost approaching ARF quality. I had ordered an ARF too, ARF clasp quality is better though.

As another member mentioned, dipping in baby oil helps (also dip it in WD40).

ZZF flip part of the clasp doesn’t seem to be rounded enough

Yup and missing the gap in this example. I've not seem a a big batch so cant tell if there all like this

Got QC but unsure if I actually got V2S or it's the V2? Also the ceramic of the bezel looks wobbled between the 40 and 50 mark, is that even possible or just lighting?

It's a v2s edition you cant get the v2 anymore anyway I asked li the other day

My dealer told me not to tell anyone, so I don't.

Just arrived. Some bad penmanship on my part on these showing which is which, but the 16 date is the v2s and the 18 date is my v1. V1 has an ARF bracelet, which I think I will move just the clasp as the ZZF v2s bracelet looks to fit slightly better on the watch body.

Why do the new Sub reps all use flip lock clasps when the Gen Subs use glide lock clasps? The glide lock is superior for adjusting the bracelet on the fly.

Mate the reps are using the ones gens use..these are Glidelock clasps...fliplock is also present on Glidelocks...cheers!!!

Cheesemonger thanks mate for posting the comparison shots...everyone was waiting for it...the V2S surely looks more saturated than the V2 insert....although its not that evident in pics, I'm sure in real life the color difference is noticeable.
Can't wait to get mine n do the same comparison
