Li and Lana are true professionals. They turned around the new pics in about 15 minutes. Amplitude is up to 311 after giving it a full wind.

Those V2S look quite sharp, it's a good batch produced here, all so regular QCs it's almost as if Li used the same watch for all of you guys (just kiddin' huh!).

The DW are not so bad and it is always something the most picky of us can work out, but those watches are nice. Hell I'm feeling like getting one now...

Just took your advice and signed up an account on ClickPix. Thanks for the guidance. Pics below, please let me know what you guys think. If everything is kosher I would like to greenlight this ASAP for Li as he has been very professional.

The dates are very low in the window. It seems to be a hit and miss with the v2s. Almost all the watches had some perfectly aligned date numbers and others were too low (same watch). And a centered date is very important to me, that's where I would focus on the first.

If i swap a gen DW, would that fix the alignment issue? DW was one of the bits on my list to do, that and a gen xtal.

Gen datewheel will solve the problem. Together with a gen xtal, man, you're good to go! I'm thinking of the same route, but it takes so long to have it done.

Not when you live in Hong Kong There are tons of shops here that work on reps. We also have a ton of awesome seiko modders. just need to find a good source for the gen parts for the hulk.

Question to the Hulk Pros: does the ARF V3 need a crystal upgrade? I read crystal is good ootb. Alternative is ZzF v2s with Prof black hole xtal but of course $250 more costly

As of now, other than gen bezel/insert and dial, all parts are readily available on ebay, chrono24. Many modders keep stock of gen parts too. Right now there is a gen dial and bezel/insert on sale in M2M too. I have never seen that happen before

Tempting, but to drop 7,000 on a bezel and dial is a lot of money. For that money I would be looking at gens

Waiting list is so long .. an used one are between 16k and 20k

I hear you mate. The price of dial and bezel is a bit hard to justify...but hulks in gen are very hard to get at retail from AD. Even pre-owned are selling at ridiculous pricing.

No, I hear ya. One of my good mates here has a hulk he picked up for retail, best investment he ever made.
