Bezel and Dial Review of ZZF V2S 116610LV Submariner and Comparison vs. Gen, ARF V3 and Noob V10

From all readings, it is obvious ZZF varies with its quality and built standard from batch to batch. Whether you will get a good piece is kinda like hit or miss. This gives me the impression that they don't have regular and standardized parts suppliers - except for the CF insert and dial.

Tell me one factory which doesn't they all do and most even much worse ZZF is pretty good actually in that department.

I don't have the hulk but have 2 ZZF LN subs.

Actually just one sold the other yesterday and am ordering a new one from Li.

back in the days the submariner game was the same, 2 steps forward and 1 backwards

you can buy the actually batch and get the best batch ne next years maybe but maybe in 1 month the new batch is better...

noob v6s LN had the best case and we are at v10 today haha

I also got my ZZF Hulk v2s from Li and keeps nice time and weight is perfect

the look is awesome and the service and delivery time from Li was amazing

1. The bracelet and clasp feels very cheap compared to my old ARF one (ordered a new arf bracelet already)
2. the bezel is very hard to turn. i mean VERY STRONG haha

what i need to fix this? only the gen click springs?

i read that the v6s was the most gen like case. after v6s every case is not perfect

1. The bracelet is actually pretty good, compared to the gen, but the clasp is straight to the garbage bin.
2. I took mine apart, and installed gen gasket and crystal. Mine turns smooth as butter now

i try to order gen gasket and crystal + datewheel.

hope after installing this components the bezel turns smooth like gen?

IMO dont bother with the datewheel. Once you get a gen crystal on there at the correct height, a gen datewheel is not gonna make much of a difference. Comparing mine to my gens, i can't really see the difference

Zzf looks really good. I got my ZZF in rotation with my gens, and I don’t notice a difference

OOTB the only thing that bothers me about the zzf is the hour hand. It looks real flat compared to the gen. The edges looks thin and sharp while the gen will look more solid and 3 dimensional. Is it possible to swap the hands with the arf models?
