Please also send one insert to that joker (aka idiot) for doing a "professional" review.

Jokes aside - smoke sorry for getting mud slinged yesterday. This moron probably has no idea about your expertise and contributions. Please continue to do the good work you do for the community to educate/help us. Members here are forever grateful...

:D:DI had no issues when this nincompoop was going after individual members (me included). To be honest, with the lockdown I enjoyed some humor.

But pulling smoke into it was a mistake.

smoke im not a clown, because you cant take critics... thats not how it should be.. i have seen other threads where if somebody point out something you will always answer back like what you say or think is the right.. thats not how it should be... I will change this forum forever after i get the watch, be ready for a proffesional reviewer guys!

While there's some truth in what you say, this is not a reason to act like you did here. This a community aimed at learning things about watches and sometimes extending this knowledge to everything revolving around them.
Expressing your opinion about the skill of a reviewer is way less productive than actually doing some work and putting out a review and let people be the judges of the quality of your work.
But it's by no mean a competition, it's an additive process here, smoke have his style of review, they are good and clearly made and people enjoy them.

You are free to provide a different style of review but you are required to respect others in all situations.

This is not a prison ground, you don't need to go after the big guy in the corner to prove yourself

Also, pretending to be a Danish rapper. How utterly ridiculous. But comically delightful.

Anyways, so excited for this new watch to come out. Shoot, I was stoked with a modded Noob I had for a while. This ZZF really makes me love this hobby. When it's so close it actually makes me appreciate the gen more too... but knowing I can get so close for a fraction of the price is... priceless. Or $528 plus shipping to be exact :p

I just can't be so excited. there are too big errors on this watch. I am a Hulk ZZF V2 owner and I can clearly see very obvious defects such as the sharp bezel teeth or the CG. It is on the whole a great watch but it is far from being a super rep. Sin...

Ah. Fair enough. You've been in this hobby longer than me so certain things just don't stand out to me. It wasn't that long ago that I couldn't hardly tell a rep dial from a gen dial, for example. Once I started noticing, it changed my whole perspective and I got into frankens.

I can see the crowngaurd and teeth off from Gen, but they just don't grab my attention... yet lol.

Could the crownguards and be bezel teeth be adjusted by someone skilled in metalwork? I'd imagine the teeth can, but I'd think the crown guards could be minimally adjusted at best.

Yes ;-) I know.
I'm sorry that a Sub that reaches a good level like this ZZF must have defects that the other Factories don't have. this applies a little to all reps. The best I have got are mixing the parts of different Factories. Like my 2 Nautilus 5711 obtained from PF + PPF + Keylog DW ... or my 116500 mix between Noob / ARF / CF Bezel. All the other reps I have always have something wrong, they are compromises ...

The ARF SD43 V1 had sharp bezel teeth. The fix was to place the watch on a desk corner or a chair arm. Then hold a small piece of sandpaper backed by wood (or better still a sanding stick if you have them) against the bezel teeth where its sharp, and rotate the bezel across the sandpaper. This widens the flats between the grooves a little but I know a whole of people did this to keep from getting bitten by their bezel teeth. I still have mine and its mirror smooth to the touch.

I placed my order over two months ago (4 watches, one of them the v2). Because it took so long for the factories to open, I could change my order and get the v2s (2 weeks ago). However, I would probably not be able to be sure if the QC is from a v2 or V2s. We’ll see. I’ll try and do a side by side with my friend’s gen (if I ever get to see him with all the corona restrictions..

Yes I'm in the same situation with the daytona, I'm waiting the noob v3 and maybe I'll buy also the ARF to swap dial and bracelet...depends on what feeling this noob will give me after a nice bath in jonsons baby oil :)
But with this V2S is another story, the main flaw is on the rehaut and looks unfixable unless by swapping the entire case (madness).

That x between "ROLEX" and the serial n° really bother me

Maybe ZZF V2S with Noob case is the best solution :)
