Best way to remove a Pelagos bezel

Nice find.. Im actually looking for a black pelagos insert as well. I can't seem to source it also, any advice on the below link ?

At the end Andrew from TT was able to source the part for me so I cancelled my order form aliexpress, wasn't cheap though $100 but it is what it is.

Depends how this goes but in the future and if I find an original blue bezel I might get it.

I tried removing mine, same way I remove a Sub bezel, but ended up bending the titanium bezel. Making a full rotation difficult and the bend is visible on the wrist.

damm.. did u use a tiny case back knife or some other tools.. I actually ordered a piece from the DHgate though..

So you got just the insert from Trusty, and did you replace it without removing the bezel?

The insert is on its way to me as I write. The exchange will be done by my watchmaker as I have no idea nor the tools to do this.
Will report back with the results.

I used a case back knife. Works great on Seikos, Rolex etc but not Pelagos. My Pelagos is a 2 liner so the assembly might have changed for the newer REPs.

I wonder if these are using the 8 sided wire retention clip like many older model Rolexes use. The insert has to come off first on these, then the wire can be threaded out. To get the insert off, often the crystal has to come out to get underneath the insert.

No. The bezel assy is held together by a tiny small white delrin ring. Same as on BB and all Subs.
If you’re not carefully enough while disassembling the ring will be damaged. It‘s impossible to find spare parts so you‘ll have to make a new one on a lathe.
