Need to replace a tube. It's a little mangled up so I need a good tool but don't want to spend a fortune on top of the line. What's a good one?
Thanks guys.
Thanks Dave, what about for re-installing a new tube?
I use the same thing , it works great for me
How do you thread a clockwise threaded tube on with a counter-clockwise easy-out bit?
well because the center of the tube is not smooth, the ez out flutes engage in the the tube star (flutes) and give it grip
you need a tiny one that will actually reach the star/flutes though , but it works
Interesting, ok thanks!
KJ2020 So what is your final solution. I fell down the rabit hole buying myself a rolex 700 and a 702 crown with tube just to be cool and discovered the tool I bought is for sure for a 703/704 crown/tube.
I have seen some tools on Amazon and Aliexpress like this:
https://www.amazon.de/Uhrengeh%C3%A4...7052161&sr=8-4
or Cousins like this:
Multi Collet (internal) Spline Tool
but I dont know if that will do the trick ? What about Torque Screwdrivers ?
