However, it is also possible that the dealers are just forwarding what the current Noob factory management is telling them, because they know V4 is somewhat popular even in its unstable release.

Yeah. I'm just curious what they are actually selling, despite what they claim it is. I still think an HF V2 is a good deal at $200

I bought a noob 111 V3 a few years ago and it is still my best looking watches by far, better looking than all of my gen watches (1k-4k price range)
I had the gen and the rep. No visible difference, even the weight by holding them in my hands (not on a scale of course) was spot on!

I just sent funds for a New York Boutique Edition. I still plan on getting a Noob 005 in the future.
622 is so underrated. It is 47mm however but the case is slim and does not look huge. Its cheap enough and no need to mod it.

Agreed. It's very nice and feels great on the wrist. I still think an closed case back is closer to a gen. 243 etc !

Well a closed caseback will always reduce the number of possible detectable flaws by 1, no matter how good it looks because a movement has so many points of comparison, like the Y-incabloc, the Cote de Geneves finish, the number and size of jewels, the finishing of on the teeth on the gear, and others. Of course, the caseback also has a number of features that can be done incorrectly but the factories have demonstrated that they can do that part already very well.

Would you say that the Noob 243 is the most gen like out of all the Submersible reps currently on the market ?

There are a few submersible super reps, but in my opinion, Noob 243 is tops.
Love the chunky 1950 SS heavy Case, it "feels" more gen than the others I had previously owned.
