GregH The hands are not bad, but they are not finished like the gen, the crown is not thicker but you can see it by mounting I noticed some guys that makes the effect gen and makes it look like the beveled case.For the comparison I will open a thread of my dj franken, although still not complete sends me to mount gen hands and crown.

Put some money on the side for a gen età and you are good

On the other hand you can get a real (old) gen for 1800-3000 depends on how lucky you are. But again old movement, servicing
, Scretches etc...

A grey market dealer had a mop 116234 and a 16234 with tapestry dial. Just the other day. The 116234 was 11,800while the 16334 was marked at 4899.99

I see alot of you mention servicing but dont quite understand what u meant in the context? Is that we alway have to bring our Rep watch to service after received it from the dealer? Many thanks

Buy ARF, just install Gen date wheel or it’s starts to cost a bit

Gen blue dials are around £300

Gen DW cost around £150

Service around £100 DW installed for free.

This is mine, with the date wheel mod it looks really good. No one would know it’s not real unless side by side with one.

it accepts gen dw and dial
